Is a form of therapy that focuses on improving family dynamics and behaviors by teaching family members new skills to communicate effectively, manage conflicts, and address problematic patterns within the family unit, typically involving the whole family working together with a therapist to identify and change negative behaviors and strengthen positive interactions; it's considered an evidence-based approach that can be used to treat issues like substance abuse, depression, conduct problems, and family dysfunction.
